(back) Subject: Re: [Residence Organs] residence organ - Peterson Relay From: "Bart Kleineweber" <> Date: Mon, 10 Apr 2000 11:31:02 CDT   Dear Gary and list:   I think we may need more information before we can offer any advice. You say the chest is "electric", do you mean electromechanical with Reisner = 601 magnets? What size are the magnets, because some electronic relays will only accomodate up to 40 Ohm size magnets and then only if the guts = voltage regulator is a full 12 volts or even up to 13 volts. Check the voltage on =   the power supply connections with a voltmeter to see what you are getting there. Turn everything else off. Is this a straight chest or a unit = chest? If it's a straight chest the magnets may be too large to operate with an =   electronic relay. Can Peterson himself offer any advice?   Bart Kleineweber Chicago, IL     >HI list, If anyone can give me "words of wisdom" on what I need to do >to get the 8 rank electric chest that is being hooked up to a Peterson >relay playing, it would be helpful.
