Gary   The Diapason frequently inserts joke ads in their classified section = (things like straight pedal board options so you can play Bach authenticly). A recent issue has draw knob = extensions for your console for those tired of buckteeth stop tabs.

(back) Subject: Mixture Chest From: "Bart Kleineweber" <prinzipal8@hotmail.com> Date: Wed, 01 Mar 2000 14:19:58 CST   I looked at my mixture chest again last night. All the magnet operated couplers were turned on at the console. When I turned them all off, the dead notes at the mixture worked again. Perhaps there was not enough current left over to operate some of the stubborn magnets. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

The definitive answer is attached, in response to a question posted to the Schantz web site, believe it or not!   Regards, Dave McClellan   >Hello Dave- > >As way of introduction, my name is Fred Robinson and I am head of the console department here at Schantz. Tim Mann has asked if I can can help = you with these questions so I will do my best.......     <snip>   >Rocking Tablets- >To remove the rocking tablets you would 1) remove the U shaped spring 2) disconnect the linkage by removing the leather nuts 3) remove the screws (behind the tablet board) that holds the small finished end caps 4) using = a pair of pliers or such pull the nylon bearing rod out of the rocking = tablet assembly. At that point they should be loose. >
