(back) Subject: organ plays again From: "Kelvin Smith" <KelvinSmith@untraveledroad.com> Date: Sat, 20 May 2000 21:02:45 -0600   Hello listers,   Last night at 11:00 I turned my organ on again for the first time in 4 months, complete with its new blower and improved wind system. I was pleased to find that my efforts in reducing blower noise in the organ room were well rewarded. It's barely audible.   Turning the organ on was fairly uneventful. The organ worked pretty much = as it did before. The one exception was that the regulators are just dripping with air. I took off several weights off the static regulator because it's output was too high. The great regulator was getting so much air that it's overflow valve was opening slightly. With the old blower the static regulator only would rise about an inch. Now it's rising about to its overflow.   I played the organ for hours today. Our children all danced around the = room and pretended to play on the new console which isn't hooked up yet.   This week I also received most of my Artisan organ control system. My next project is to install that into the new console.   Kelvin
