Some List Updates

(back) Subject: Some List Updates From: "David Scribner" <> Date: Thu, 23 Nov 2000 11:31:37 -0600   Good Morning   First of all, for those members in the U.S. - Happy Thanksgiving!!   This morning I have finally updated the List Archives so the Digests through yesterday are now on the Web Site. Unfortunately, due to the current list server I have to do these by hand and haven't had the time to update them until today. I know that a couple of the new members of the list have asked about the past digests so please go to the Web Site and check them out. If anyone finds something that isn't right, like a link is that wrong please write me at the Owner's address. I have doubled checked all the links but I may have still missed on somewhere.   Over the last several months we have had a good number of people join us. I invite them to send an introduction to the list telling about themselves and their projects. As you can see from some of the early archives many of the original list members did this so that everyone could get to know each Owner's address with your post. Although i can't promise that I will get it up on the Web pages immediately i will get them posted fairly soon.   I have been glad to see some people's updates on their progress of their instruments. I think this is good for all of us as it does maybe help spur us along with our own instruments. As I read these updates I am a bit jealous especially my instrument is all in storage right now. As many folks know I recently moved to Little Rock, AR so the organ was packed for the move. And it is currently sitting all packed up in what will be the new kitchen of this house. But before it can be reinstalled room for it needs to be prepared. And the room that is going to be turned into the organ chamber is currently filled with things from the garage and attic of my Florida home. And along with the reinstallation the whole organ is going to be reconfigured and enlarged. But before that happens a lot of other things need to be done around the house. Well, one of these days... <G>   Best Wishes   David -- ********************************************************* DIYAPASON-L - a mailing list for the owners/builders of their own home pipe organ
