From: "Elders, Craig" <c.elders@tcu.edu> Date: Wed, 20 Sep 2000 12:54:58 -0500   Good afternoon to all!   Have you noticed lately that there has not been much reporting on all the projects that we are working on. In my case, working at a university, the start of the semester takes a lot of the time that I could be putting into very important organ "things" like building, or at least playing and practicing.   SO........ if you have a minute, why not drop a line to our mostest = bestest list and tell us what is going on with your project. Maybe it will even give us some encouragement to get back to our most important task, that is building/playing our very own pipe organs.   I also hope that everyone had a wonderful summer and ready for the fall. = I know I am with 80+ days of no rain, temperatures in the 100s and even 111 several days a couple of weeks ago. Now that the days are getting shorter and we have had a cold front, only 96 today in Fort Worth, it is time to give some attention to Eleanor, my pipe organ.   Have a great rest of the week!   Craig Elders

From: "Eric Sagmuller" <ess4@psu.edu> Date: Wed, 20 Sep 2000 15:13:52 -0400   IT'S NOT!   At this point I'm pursuing a relay and EM magnets. I have a couple of chests to releather and rather than releathering I'm thinking about using EM magnets instead. Then eventually I'd like to build smaller, more space efficient chests, but then I'll have everything else to make the switch. Oh, I also picked up a nicer console a month or so ago for next to nothing. It is nearly identical to my other one but much fancier. Now I've got 2 of about everything to make one nice one out of, including plenty of SAM's. I'll be building this one up when I get a relay and then switch it with the one I have, that only has a 3 rank relay in it. At that point I'll have a ~1990 vintage SS Peterson relay to sell in case anyone is interested. It is for a 3 rank unified organ.   As usual I've been doing more work on our unfinished self built house. In the basement I now have a nice room with my woodworking stuff in it, and am getting another room nice where I'll be able to work on my organ doing the dust free work.   Hopefully this winter I'll get more accomplished.   God Bless, Eric
