(back) Subject: Slider chests From: "Pieter Smit" <pieter@cadence-engineering.co.za> Date: Fri, 22 Sep 2000 10:14:11 +0200   I am planning to build a slider chest soon, but would appreciate some guidance on how to size the tone channels, pallets and wind channels for optimum pipe speech and lightness of action. I am not sure if I can fit = in a mechanical action or if I should go for pallet magnets, but I do not = want to make the action too heavy should I decide on the former.   Any help, thumb rules or formulas would be helpful.   Pieter Smit pieter@cadence-engineering.co.za

EP. action or even Direct = Electric , with reg. to both you would have more versiatlilty with the EP. action if you want to have a lite action go with slider with the electric = assistance or completely pneumatic , for a home organ like you are gong to = install I believe I understood you correctly . go with EP or DE several = reason you will be able to get more organ with a EP or DE organ not that = one is better that another that is not the case you would just have a = larger organ and with a mechanical=20 hope I have been of some help         >>> pieter@cadence-engineering.co.za 09/22/00 03:14AM >>> I am planning to build a slider chest soon, but would appreciate some guidance on how to size the tone channels, pallets and wind channels for optimum pipe speech and lightness of action.
