(back) Subject: Those %^**@#$ critters! From: "Brian Graham" <briangraham@sunflower.com> Date: Wed, 13 Jun 2001 18:51:08 -0000   Here's some virtual comisseration for y'all: (no, they don't really say "y'all" in Kansas, but I lived in Florida for 5 years. ;))   I'm presently working on the low C pipe of my pedal Open Wood rank.   Would you believe I've vacuumed 13 bags of squirrel "midden" out of it?!   The detritus including fragmented pieces of insulation, leaves, pine needles, pine cone, assorted nut hulls, pipe metal, rat poison boxes, manila file folders, flour sacks and cigarette packs.   Now I'll have to practice my woodworking skills (such as they are) replacing the upper lip, since it was mangled by the critters. Luckily, I was able to remove the upper lip without damage to the pipe.   I guess it pays to check for critters often.     -Brian
(back) Subject: Elm Court CD From: "Brian Graham" <briangraham@sunflower.com> Date: Wed, 13 Jun 2001 18:57:10 -0000   For those of you who are enthusiasts of the "Residence Organ" in the traditional sense of the word, I pleased to heartily endorse the new CD from JAV of the Elm Court Skinner residence organ.   If you haven't ordered it yet, you should!   It's a bit pricey, but good quality recordings of roll playing residence organs are few and far between, plus it's a "double album"!   (Oh, by the way, I'm not affiliated in any way with JAV or Joe Vitacco) ;)   -Brian
