Midi to pipe = drivers take info from midi keyboards { converted pipe manuals & pedals } and/or Cakewalk. = Also using Midiman 4x4 USB interface to my computer setup. I have an Ahlborn 201 module = attached to one of the midi ports as well as a separate computer on another. The second computer = lets me run Jeux Soundfont { & others }independantly. Gives more flexibility than if I = tried to run soundfonts and Cakewalk all on same machine. There is also a Yamaha PSR 280 connected = as well.   I'm using the 32 & 64 output Midi cards made by jw-electronics in the UK. = They work well, talke little space or power & are easy to hook up. The midi keyboard & = pedal conversions are done by a unit of my own design which features hall effect sensors for = each key, then run through a midi converter - also my own design.   With this setup I can play from keyboards or computer, and record from the = midi keyboards.   Later I will probbaly add some of my own software to do a more = sophisticated organ relay function { for those who visit to play that are not so computer friendly = }.   Cheers, Dave   Residence Organ List wrote:   > DIYAPASON-L Digest #600 - Monday, July 15, 2002 > > Midi question & Thanx > by "W. Why did you choose the jw-electronics card? what is their costs, ease of use Inquiring minds like to know. Thanx, Dave Heimer

As we are beginning to build a new sanctuary, a newer =3D instrument with electronics instead of pneumatics in the console and =3D chests has been purchased. We now have about 20 ranks of pipes, a =3D console, blowers, chests, etc. that we are trying to get rid of and =3D don't know how to go about it. The moller organ they would like to =3D recover their costs from (about $1,000 I believe) and the pipes =3D somewhere better than the landfill. =3D20   Now the question - are you aware of any link/site/clearing house that =3D deals with such things?   Thanks for your help,   Pastor Alan Smith     ------=3D_NextPart_000_0013_01C22DF0.E4E355A0 Content-Type: text/html; charset=3D"iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable   <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3D3DContent-Type content=3D3D"text/html; =3D charset=3D3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D3D"MSHTML 5.50.4134.100" name=3D3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3D3DArial size=3D3D2>This was sent to me today.
