(back) Subject: Proposed Residence Organ Specs From: "First Christian Church of Casey, IL" <kzrev@rr1.net> Date: Sat, 5 Oct 2002 11:25:50 -0500   Thanks to several of you who sent cogent suggestions regarding the = possible specs for a residence organ I have in the planning stages. Here is what = it looks like after incorporating those (as best I remember--my email is on = two computers in two buildings). My biggest concern right now is that in = moving several 8' stops to the great, the swell looks a bit thin to me. So = again, I ask for your suggestions to the "Revised Edition." Ranks are = independent unless otherwise noted. Standard couplers are to be assumed. The traversflute switched from 4' to 8' with a stopped diapason bottom octave; pedal viola adds 17 treble pipes to make it usable on the great, and the Larigot 1 1/3' gets shifted to become a Tierce 1 3/5'; these are the = changes in addition to the moves from division to division.   GREAT Principal 8' Traversflute 8' Erzahler 8' Erzahler Celeste 8" TC Viola 8' (pedal ext) Octave 4' Flute D'Amour 4' Twelfth 2 2/3' Fifteenth 2' Flute D'Amour 2' (ext) Tierce 1 3/5' Trumpet 8' Orchestral Oboe 8'   SWELL Gedeckt 8' Octave 4' Harmonic Flute 4' Salicional 4' Voix Celeste 4' Octave 2' Cymbale III Cornopean 8' Oboe 8'   PEDAL Bourdon 16' (sw ext) Principal 8' (gt) Gedeckt 8' (sw) Viola 8' Octave 4' (sw) Open Flute 4' Viola 4' (ped ext) Cornopean 8' (sw) Orchestral Oboe 4 (gt)     Thanks for additional comments. These are pipes I basically have on hand, but nothing is assembled yet.   Dennis Steckley "For I am possessed of a cat, surpassing in beauty, from whom I take occasion to bless Almighty God."
