(back) Subject: Original Pic of my Organ From: "danielwh1" <danielwh1@ns.sympatico.ca> Date: Fri, 25 Oct 2002 12:15:42 -0300   Back in February,I contacted a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Middleton NS. To all of you who are wondering about this. It was the Church that my = Pipe Organ had been built and installed for. Anyways, I contacted a member looking for any information and Pictures = that anyone in the congregation may have of the Instrument in its meant for location. Almost 10 months later I got a call form the same person I had contacted earlier. A great success . He managed to find a member who had a very old picture of the sanctuary with the Organ facade in view. From the looks of = the picture, I would say it probly dated to the early veryearly 1900's.I say this because the Church recieved Electricity in the early 1900's I think maybe 1908. THe picture shows the church with old Oil lamps and oil lamp chandeliers. Thsi means that the picture no doubt is a pic in the church and organs = early life I hope to scan thsi picture thsi weekend and share it with anyone who may want it. The church looks very festive with Garlands of fir or ceder gracing the sanctuary.,I now feel I have a connection to the past , now more Then = ever. sincerely Danielwh 2000 EP Biggs Fellow     --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
