(back) Subject: Al Sefl's "The Glue Pot" and "Organ Building 101" From: "David O. Doerschuk" <d.doerschuk@att.net> Date: Fri, 6 Sep 2002 01:08:12 -0500   Al Sefl,   I've never read "The Glue Pot" while it was under your editorship, nor = have I read your "Organ Building 101", although I've lost track of the number = of times I've seen both these referred to in print. I've read a lot of your work in our own list, and the MMD archive on mmd.foxtail.com, and I admire your clarity and exposition very much.   I'd like to read them, and I think it would be great to have them on the DIYapason website. So, here's my thought: if you'd be willing to send on paper copies (or electronic, if they exist) to me, I'll do whatever is required to get them into something universally readable (I'm thinking acrobat .pdf files here) and send them to David Scribner for inclusion on the site.   I made this a list email rather than private because I thought some of the other members would probably have add-on ideas that would make the plan better. Obviously, you would retain copyright and whatever other = ownership rights you want. I don't want anything except to make the manuscripts widely available which, I assume, is in keeping with your original intent. (If you've got H.B.J. hooked on a publishing deal, then excuse me while I pull my foot from my mouth! :-)   Whatever you decide, thanks for all the lessons taught.   Best Regards, Dave Doerschuk
