It is a large suitcased-sized oak box that opens to reveal twelve metal pipes, all C's, but from twelve different ranks. They are held in place in felted = holes and are removable. The dealer said they were for tuning an organ. They are all marked with the name Tellers Organ Company, Erie, PA. The pipes are: Principal Geigen Octave Viola Dolcan Spitz Principal Gemshorn Erzahler Koppleflute Gedact Rohrflute Nazard Tierce   You can see two pictures under My Photos at: http://photos.yahoo.com/firman1@prodigy.net   What IS this? I would guess that it is more "samples" than any sort of tuning reference, though, despite what the antique dealer might have = said.   Who's up on their Erie PA organ history? Did Tellers make a go at being = an "industry supplier" at some point, perhaps?   Cheers --   Tim

In addition, it = is a convenient way to show the different methods of pipe construction .   Jan S.
