(back) Subject: Home organ project progress From: "Kilgen" <kilgen@wi.rr.com> Date: Thu, 25 Dec 2003 07:38:28 -0600   Well Larry you at least have something playing on your instrument which is not the case with my project although I get closer with it each day I work on it.   I had an accident riding my horse a couple of weeks ago which resulted in = a broken right heel bone so I presently have a cast on my right foot and = leg. Now that I have a couple of days off of work for these holidays, I desire = to take advantage of this time to do some work on the organ. I have the relay circuits which I can easily do on my kitchen table but yesterday I was = able to get some things done in the chamber although being one legged slowed me down a bit. I managed to get the rack board for the 8' tuba basses sawed = up and I have the tuba bass chest supported upside down so I can sit by it = and wire the cable to it.   It will be a while before I get anything playing but the first playing = ranks will no doubt be the tibia and vox which are all installed, partially = winded and wired to the relay. Those two ranks are up in a loft back in the rear = of the chamber so that is why I installed those ranks first. My goal is to = get these ranks playing as soon as I can in order to bolster up my incentive = to keep working on the project.   My big three manual Moller console is back in the picture however I intend to get the organ playing on the small Gulbransen console first. I can move the big console into the room to work on it while the organ is playable = from the small console.   GaryK   -----Original Message----- From: DIYAPASON-L@pipechat.org [mailto:DIYAPASON-L@pipechat.org]On Behalf Of Larry Chace Sent: Wednesday, December 24, 2003 12:05 PM To: Residence Organ List Subject: [Residence Organs] Re: Seasons Greetings to my "Pals"     <snip> I did wire up a 2nd manual, so that the organ is now officially a 2/1!
