When the 4' Oct. was rough voiced there were 2 pipes that would speak louder then the rest, I don't remember what = ones they were. The voicer said a room will favor some notes and not the rest. = Sounds odd but even I could here it. I was the one working the tools and the = voicer was the one with the ears. He has voiced quite a few organs in Sandy Eggo = both pipe and pipe-digitall. He has the ears. Lately he has been to busy to get =   by. I have been rough voicing poor speaking pipes and really loud ones. = The finish will be up to the guy with the ears. I am afraid to go to far. It = is harder to close toes then to open them!   Off to work. Dennis PS went to Lords and Taylor to see the Wanamaker and here it played, WOW!
(back) Subject: Reservoir Building From: <> Date: Mon, 15 Sep 2003 20:42:28 EDT   Sorry, I'm posting to both lists because I know that there are = those experienced in the technical aspects of pipe organs that don't lurk the diyapason list.   Does anybody have much experience in actually building a reservoir from scratch? I need two more reservoirs for my project which should be = about 24" x 30-36". I have a 30 x 42 with an internal curtain valve that I = could copy. It doesn't need to be releathered, so I wouldn't be able to take it =   completely apart.   Thanks, Keith

It is 30" x 36" x 11" deep. It will need complete releathering. = I'm in New Hampshire. Will
