Could you give us some details, like where the instrument came from and specification?   Thanks, Scott ------------------------------------------------------ STEVE PITTS wrote: > List: > Its still under construction, but there are a few decent photos of my = home pipe organ. > > http://spitts.home.mchsi.com > > > Steve Pitts > Ardmore, Tennessee > > > > DIYAPASON-L: a Discussion list for owners and builders of their own > Residence Pipe Organs. > HOMEPAGE : http://www.diyapason.pipechat.org > List: mailto:DIYAPASON-L@pipechat.org > Administration: mailto:owner-DIYAPASON@pipechat.org > >
(back) Subject: RE: [Residence Organs] my residence pipe organ web site From: "STEVE PITTS" <steve.pitts@adtran.com> Date: Fri, 13 Feb 2004 14:00:52 -0600   Scott Thanks for your comment. I had been looking to acquire a home organ for = years. I had posted some adds on the internet indicating such. Our if the = clear blue an e-mail arrived from the Musci Director at Our Lady of = perpetual Help offering the organ for sale. The original configuration was = 25 ranks and 4 divisions. i thought that would be much too large for me, = and at the time I was living in a rental house. Somehow, it worked out and = I bought the organ. I sold the 6 rank Choir division and kept the = remaining 19 ranks. Much of it was in storage for about 1.5 years until I = bought a house with a large studio type building/barn with 11 ft high = ceilings. It took about 1 year to get it to the current state that its in: = 17 ranks playing, 3 divisional blowers. I still have 2 ranks : an 8 ft = Salicional and an 8ft Vox Celeste and Degan Chimes to bring on-line.   Steve Pitts Ardmore Tennessee   the Stop List:   GREAT (unenclosed) 8' 1st Open Diapason 8' 2nd Open Diapason 8' Melodia 8' Gamba 4' Octave 4' Gambette 2' Fifteenth 1 1/3' Fifteenth 8' Harmonic Tuba 16' Great to Great 8' Great Unison 4' Great to Great 16' Swell to great 8' Swell to Great 4' Swell to Great 16' Choir to Great 8' Choir to Great 4' Choir to Great 8' Transept to Great Chimes   SWELL (Enclosed) 8' Salicional 8' Vox Celeste 8' Stopped Diapason 4' Salicet 4' Violina 4' Flute 2' Principal 8' Oboe Chimes Tremulant   16' Swell to Swell 8' Swell unison Off 4' Swell to Swell 8' Transept to Swell 8' Choir to Swell   16' Choir to Choir 8' Choir Unison 4' Choir to Choir 16' Swell to Choir 8' Swell to Choir 4' Swell to Choir 8' Transept to Choir   TRANSEPT (Floating Division - Enclosed) 8' Salicional 8' Melodia 4' Flute D'Amour 2' Flageolet PEDAL 16' Bourdon 16' Bass Flute (Swell) 16' Lieblich Gedeckt 8' 1st Open Diapson 8' Cello 8' Gemshorn 8' Stopped Diapason 4' Octave 8' Harmonic Tuba   8' Great to Pedal 8' Swell to Pedal 4' Swell to Pedal 8' Choir to Pedal   CHIMES (Deagan, 21 tubes, with volume control 1-5)   Expression Pedals: - Swell - Choir - Crescendo   Toe Studs: - Great to Pedal - Full Organ                     -----Original Message----- From: DIYAPASON-L@pipechat.org [mailto:DIYAPASON-L@pipechat.org]On Behalf Of Scott E.
