(back) Subject: Re: to o-builders & o-techs. &AGO members From: Paul Opel <popel@sover.net> Date: Mon, 3 Nov 1997 09:20:18 -0400   F'rinstance, there's a 7 rank two manual C.E. Morey tracker for sale in my town, good mechanical condition but missing ranks, that should go for about $750. Four ranks of pipes and moving might make it a few thousand, but certainly under $5K. I'd get it myself if I had room- it's 7' 2" wide and about 10' deep, with the pedals and bench space. (It's a left front corner case).   Paul Opel
(back) Subject: IRC Chat tonight! From: Bob Conway <conwayb@post.queensu.ca> Date: Mon, 03 Nov 1997 10:03:00 -0500   There will be the usual PipeChat IRC Chat this evening, starting at 9.00 pm EST, and going on for as long as members want it to go on!   I shall not be present this evening, I have to attend a meeting of the Kingston Fermentation Society, which takes precedence as I am a Founder Member. Just to think of all the many brews and vintages we have made and tasted since we began in 1972!   However, you all come to the Pipechat, I will try to look in sometime after 11.00 pm!     Bob Conway <conwayb@post.queensu.ca> Organic DeeJay Emeritus, - but back for this Session! (back) Subject: Kimball opus list? From: jkautz@ebicom.net (Jerrell Kautz) Date: Mon, 3 Nov 1997 22:22:55 -0600   I was wondering who has the Kimball archives? There is a Kimball electro pneumatic organ listed that is 1946, when I hear they quit making pipe organs before WWII.   Who would have this information these days?
(back) Subject: web page listings wanted From: Nelson and Tracy Denton <ndenton434@bigwave.ca> Date: Tue, 04 Nov 1997 02:05:39   Hi all I'm working on making a web page consisting entirely of nothing but Pipe Organ and Related Web Pages Links   The current list ( unedited) is of Pipe Organ Builders. Listings of Reed organs, Pianos, Harpsicords, Electronic organs Etc. will follow. . . My current effort can be seen   @ http://www.freeyellow.com/members/radentonson/organ.htm ( I hope)   The listings so far are just a couple of hundred but I have nearly 1000+ more to sort through.   Please feel free to send me your favourite web page addresses.   I can read Netscape Bookmark files if you wish to attach them to your messages.   Please post privately so the list doesn't get overwhelmed. :-))))   send e-mails to   Ndenton434@bigwave.ca   Thanks Nelson         Also if you wish to rate the pages listed as 1 being awful and 10 being the best you have ever seen, I can then rate the websites for people to view the best.       Nelson E. The story that I have heard/read is that they took everything out into the alley and burned it.   David   ********************************** David Scribner Black Iris Consulting 4775 Balmoral Drive Pensacola, FL 32504-9174 850-478-9635 - Voice 850-476-0711 - Fax david@blackiris.com
