(back) Subject: Happy Birthday PIPECHAT! From: "Dr. Peter G. Pocock" <pgpocock@ix.netcom.com> Date: Mon, 06 Oct 1997 07:48:12 -0700   Good morning everyone,   I am pleased to announce that Pipechat is one year old today. For those of you who have joined us over this year, we appreciate your presence and your contributions. To the first 25 who were charter members, most of you are still with us, thanks for sticking with PipeChat. We are now almost 400 subscribers, many said we would not last, but here we are stronger than ever.   A special thank you to Shirley -- our former Co-Owner -- for her extensive contributions and to David -- our new Co-Owner -- for his valuable contributions in getting us up and running on our own server and "running" the list for us.   Thanks to each and everyone of you for being a part of PipeChat.   Keep up those posting,   Take care,   Pete!   Dr. Peter Pocock List Administrator and Co-Owner

It hardly seems possible that a year has gone by. Just think, in 99 more years we can have a big Birthday Party for PipeChat. I will be looking forward to this.   Karl Musica est Dei donum optimi
