(back) Subject: OOPS! St. Ignatius, NY, Schedule-2 Corrections From: ManderUSA@aol.com Date: Tue, 8 Sep 1998 13:52:39 EDT   Dear Lists,   I discovered (courtesy of the eagle eye of John Mander) an error in the complete season concert press release for St. Ignatius Loyola in NY. In putting the dates in his book, John was unable to turn October 29th into a Tuesday, no matter how hard he tried. The actual date is Tuesday, *October 20th*. Later individual press releases for this concert bore the correct date, mercifully. I, however, get full credit for turning Mr. Bruckner into Mr. Burckner in my posting.   In addition to this, after the full release was sent out, Kent Tritle, because his program tomorrow night is a long one, thought it best to change that time to 7:30. Again, the individual releases bore the correct time, so there should be no rush of latecomers at 8! So, 7:30 it is, and I will hope to see you there. If you are driving, it is useful to know that parking on the south side of E. 84th Street (one way eastbound), between Madison and Park (along the north side of the church building) all becomes legal at 6 p.m. If you get there at about 5:50, you can join the other concert-goers sitting in their cars, listening to radios (NPR, of course!), and watching for the cops, who never come by.   Malcolm Wechsler N. (back) Subject: Re: "ORANGIST" From: "Dr. Darryl Miller" <OrganDok@safari.net> Date: Tue, 08 Sep 1998 20:21:59 -0400   Stan mentioned the name on his pay envelope at a wedding.   I just heard a new title for one of the parents of the bridal couple -- our wedding hostess-type-person called the mother of the groom -- the "mother-in-law from hell." Then she added, "stay away from her or you'll be playing everything you know at least twice through!"   And the sad thing is the bridal couple were really sweeet kids. But . . .. oooooooh, that mother of his! Whoaza!   Yours,   Darryl by the Sea (Happy her check didn't bounnnnnnce!)

We took the organ and the violin in the settlement!   Cheers,   Glenda     > > John. > > > "Pipe Up and Be Heard!" > PipeChat: A discussion List for pipe/digital organs & related topics > HOMEPAGE : http://www.pipechat.org > List: mailto:pipechat@pipechat.org > Administration: mailto:admin@pipechat.org > Subscribe/Unsubscribe: mailto:requests@pipechat.org
