(back) Subject: What should the name be? A TO list is comming!!! From: "Sean Haley" <newgershwin@hotmail.com> Date: Thu, 17 Sep 1998 10:22:16 PDT   Here I am once again,   I'll bet everyone else one the list is getting tired of me posting about this...but if you will just bear with me. It seems that Jerrell and I are getting something going. He is working on setting up a list server to start this off (loud applause and cheering). We decided to hold off on any IRC type chat until things get going. Chat (as I understand it) takes more time to get all of the bugs worked out etc. NOW THE HARD PART. My responsibility is to come up with a name for this list as well as a set of rules and of course a home page. All of this will be taking place at the internet's most popular theatre organ site, THEATRE-ORGANS.COM. So if you have ANY suggestions E-MAIL them to me. I will be getting on to Pipeorg-l to spread the news and gain even more supporters. So spread the word along and keep in touch for more developments on the New (and only?) THEATRE ORGAN LIST. The list is on it's way, so sit back and get ready to make some new friends and to learn of the theatre organ in all of it's glory. STAY TUNED!!!!!!, _____ | | Sean M. (back) Subject: Parting-out the Moller (X-Posted) From: Richard Schneider <arpncorn@davesworld.net> Date: Thu, 17 Sep 1998 15:42:33 -0700   Dear lists and fellow organbuilders:   With considerable heaviness of heart, I have to announce that the time has come where we have made the decision to part-out the 1958 III/48 Moller organ that we have had in storage for the past 16 months. Our original plans were going to be to re-locate it to a church in the south. However, when that dissolved, several additional attempts to find a home for it have all failed. However our loss will be your gain!   The materials in this instrument are in incredibly good and actually MINT condition, so this instrument will go VERY quickly. We have listed prices which we consider to be fair market value, yet priced for quick sale.   Money speaks; we'll listen, in that no reasonable offer is being turned down.   If you want any of the parts, I suggest you contact me before tomorrow night, because at the rate inquiries are already pouring in, I am suspecting it will be all "spoken-for" by then.   This is your golden opportunity! Take advantage or be left out!   Faithfully,   Richard Schneider, President SCHNEIDER PIPE ORGANS, Inc. The new list will be like a breath of fresh air.   How about just TO-List for a name?   Keep up the good work. Karl (Dickinson 3/66 Kimball TO) Musica est Dei donum optimi
