(back) Subject: Artisan Console From: "Grandstaff, Larry P." <grandslp@smxcorp.com> Date: Tue, 29 Sep 1998 08:15:51 -0400   George,   The Artisan has found a new home! Thanks for the ad, but I am not a theatre organ nut, just an Artisan nut!!   I contacted Bob Gill and we are working out the moving details. I will be adding this console to my collection of Artisan organs and parts, along with my Hammond organ and my 2/10 Moller pipe organ opus 5654.   Thanks again, Larry G. of Pipe Dreams Farm
(back) Subject: II Manual Casavant DK Console available immediately (X-Posted) From: Richard Schneider <arpncorn@davesworld.net> Date: Tue, 29 Sep 1998 11:50:49 -0700   Dear lists:   I just received a phone call from another builder who is in the process of doing an organ tearout near here and has a II manual Casavant Drawknob console that is redundant to his re-location project.   Recently, someone had written me inquiring about a 2 manual Drawknob console and I cannot, for the life of me, find that post now.   This is a limited time offer, in that if a home is not found for it by tmorrow afternoon, it will be too late.   Excellent condition. Price: $1,500.00 FOB Central IL. We can arrange delivery for an extra fee.   Please contact me ASAP!   Faithfully,   Richard Schneider, President SCHNEIDER PIPE ORGANS, Inc. I'm relieved to hear all of you say this is likely a minor problem. I brought up the idea of the Solid State action because that is how two other churches in the area have solved their console problems. I was mainly asking the question due to my ignorance of the cost to repair or rebuild a pneumatic console. Actually, I much prefer that "kerthunk" when pressing a piston.     ** Jim Zimmerman zimmerman@chem.purdue.edu **
