In the 1928 Prayer Book, the Gloria follows =   the Communion. Here I see it after the Kyrie. Is this a "modernization" = at St. Matthew's or something from the Anglican Missal?   << ntroit - Puer natus est - Healy Willan Kyrie - Missa "Cum jubilo" (Gregorian Mass IX) Gloria - Scottish Chant Psalm 2 - Quare fremuerunt gentes? - Anglican chant (Tallis in >>   Jerry the Seattle Puritan

That's the dirty little secret of most of the Prayer Book = fundamentalists .... NOBODY follows the '28 Prayer Book EXACTLY. We do have some = justification, though ... unlike the Episcopal Church, the Anglican Catholic Church has = given official sanction to The Anglican Missal and The American Missal as = official liturgical books. We do it both ways ... Missal position at High Mass, = Prayer Book position at Low Mass ... don't as me why (grin).   Cheers,   Bud   JKVDP@aol.com wrote:   > Bud, I take your service music list for Christmas to be in the order in > which the music will be done.
