And on a Cavaille-Coll it sounds just GORGEOUS! I use an 8' Basson Hautbois for the solo in the middle, accompanied by an 8' Flute = Harmonique. MMMMMMMMMMMHHHHHH!!   By the way, not the following bits of pronunciation, which = English-speaking choirs love to get wrong (I've had these confirmed by ALL French-speaking Choral Directors who replied to my query on Choralist!). 1. Tres-Haut. S NOT pronounced (H aspire) 2. conduit a l'oubli. T IS pronounced 3. O Christ sois favourable. ST IS pronounced   Great piece. It surely saves one the work of transcription. The publisher is Belwin Mills? (I'm not sure on that one).       Jeffrey A. Trimble Asst. Certainly = didn't need to sit down and write out a transcription. Just need to decide in a couple of places at which octave to play the bass notes.   Chris Johns Frankenstrasse 5, D-49082 Osnabrueck Tel/Fax +49 (0)541 528 2568 EMail: Chris_Johns@gmx.de
