I play in three churches in = this town on occasion. The chatter in the church before the service and = immediately after the Benediction is very annoying. As far as the Postlude is = concerned I usually play something fairly loud anyway, and if they want to talk they = have to compete with a healthy organ with a good set of lungs. Never theless I = often have good comments after the service by some who stayed to listen to the Postlude. The worst offenders would be in an ex-Presbyteriasn church which = is small so that the noise from talking is much more of a problem.
