(back) Subject: Re: The Ultimate Tremulant Speed From: "Bruce Miles" <bruce@gbmuk.fsnet.co.uk> Date: Thu, 30 Aug 2001 07:34:36 +0100   My preferred speeds are - Tibia 6 hz, Tuba, Trumpet 6.4 hz, Diapason, Flute, Strings 6.6 hz Vox 6.8. The effect depends also on the depth of = trem and the way different types of pipe react in terms of frequency and amplitude shift. If you've only one trem (eg on an electronic) somewhere = in the middle (say 6.4hz) would probably be OK. But it's very much a matter = of personal taste.   Its not difficult to measure quite accurately - just count in 4's against = a metronome and do a small sum.   Bruce Miles.     mail to:- bruce@gbmuk.fsnet.co.uk website:- www.gbmuk.fsnet.co.uk   ----- Original Message ----- From: "pat and ian" <patian@senet.com.au> To: "Pipechat" <pipechat@pipechat.org> Sent: Wednesday, August 29, 2001 6:55 AM Subject: The Ultimate Tremulant Speed     > Sorry Ralph.
