Ollikkala" <71431.2534@compuserve.com> Date: Wed, 29 Oct 2003 23:13:38 -0500   Anyone in the area of All Saints, Ashmont, near Boston MA on Thursday evening this week or All Saints Cathedral in Albany NY on Saturday = evening, go hear this Choir, they are magnificent. Works by Phillips (1561-1628), Tomkins (1572-1656), Weelkes (1575-1623), Elgar (2), Parry (1), Stanford (2), and Walton (2), organ solos by Bach "Prelude & Fugue in A minor", and Jehan Alain "Luttes (Battles) from Trois Dances". The organ is used in most of the later works, will blow your socks off = with the Chamade in the Walton "Coronation Te Deum"! At least the All Saints Episcopal, Worcester MA one did! Concerts are likely to start at 7:30pm, = I don't have a schedule. Master of the Choristers is Adrian Lucas and Asst. Organist is Daniel Phillips. Peter Stolzfus, the new Director-Organist at All Saints, Worcester MA is also singing with the choir for these = concerts, today was his first day "at work" here.   This Sunday at 4pm at the Cathedral of St. Paul RC, Worcester MA is a Requiem for All Souls Day with Music by Gabriel Faure. Free.   Tuesday Nov. 4 at Wesley Methodist Church, Worcester MA is Organist Thomas Trotter playing the restored E. M. Skinner, at 7:30pm with a $20. admission, $15. for AGO members.   Judy Ollikkala
