If you are speaking of the electronics not being in tune with the pipes, that is another matter.   Although the system utilizes temperature sensors mounted on pipe feet to maintain pitch coordination, there is an adjust knob. Sometimes it is under the keydesk, sometimes it is behind the back panel of the console. The most usual place is in the vicinity of the system boards in the chamber.     Jim

(back) Subject: Reminder Re: OHS Roll Call From: "Administrator" <admin@pipechat.org> Date: Fri, 8 Jul 2005 12:03:15 -0500   Just a quick reminder that if you are going to OHS and will not be able to access your email while you are gone please remember to sign-off the list before you leave. That will save lots of problems with mailboxes filling up and bouncing mail, not only from this list but also from other sources.   I hope everyone that is going has a great time! Unfortunately this year I am not attending. But I hope that some of you that might have email access during the convention will post some reports about it and some photos. Actually the photos can be sent to me at <david@blackiris.com> and I will put them up on the PipeChat web site.   ENJOY!   David -- **************************************** David Scribner Owner / Co-Administrator PipeChat   http://www.pipechat.org mailto:admin@pipechat.org

(back) Subject: RE: OHS Roll Call From: "Glenda" <gksjd85@direcway.com> Date: Fri, 08 Jul 2005 17:41:02 -0500   Am waiting to enjoy the OHS convention vicariously through others' reports (hint, hint, Malcolm and others). We are otherwise detained here in the Florida Panhandle with the prospect of unwanted company, someone named Dennis showing up Sunday.   Traffic from the beaches is gridlocked, with mandatory evacuations from Highway 20 southward. The stores are empty of goods, and the storm won't even be here until Sunday. Rick has secured most of the heavy stuff so that I won't aggravate my back. Now he is gone, called back into work, so I don't know when I'll see him again. I'll sneak to town at dawn tomorrow to see if there are any canned goods, ice and food, because we spent the day covering computers at work.   We just priced large generators last week, but now that will wait. We're not used to hurricanes in the gulf before August, so thought we had some time.   People in Pensacola have to be going mad - First Baptist just got back into their sanctuary around Memorial Day.   Take lots of notes and pictures.   Glenda Sutton gksjd85@direcway.com

Perhaps you could play a recital, too, and be van-pelted by produce--as you have recently and graphically explained is an inevitable feature of your programs.   Always good to see biased and untalented people getting ahead. :-)   Bob Lind   ----- Original Message ----- From: <TubaMagna@aol.com> To: <pipechat@pipechat.org> Sent: Friday, July 08, 2005 6:53 PM Subject: Re: OHS Roll Call     > I have been asked to provide a written account of the OHS convention for > The American Organist magazine, which comes with AGO membership.
