(back) Subject: Organs and organists online gets a face lift From: "John Foss" <harkat@kat.forthnet.gr> Date: Sun, 22 May 2005 11:34:25 +0300   Tim Grenz has given organs and organists online a new look and we have = added some new features. These include a "News and Events" page, a "contributing =   organists" page with photographs and biographies and a complete redesign = of the "Public" Area. The "links" page has also been re-designed. http://www.organsandorganistsonline.com/   This week's "recital" from the Archives is a "Bach" occasion, featuring = some of the organists who have contributed to the site, including Christopher Howerter, Bodil and Jarle Fagereheim, Timothy and Jared Grenz, Graham = Blyth, Colin Mitchell and John Pryer.   Aarnoud de Groen's "Recital" last week was enjoyed by many, and I am grateful to this fine organist for giving us so many enjoyable recordings.   We will be updating the New Additions later this week. We have been sent several new files to add to the site, including performances by International Recitalists Johan Hermans from Belgium and David Lines from the US.   It is our intention to spend some time developing the Organs and Galleries =   pages, particularly of those instruments played by members, and would be very pleased to receive any details you care to send us, e.g. photographs and specifications.   I would like to thank Timothy Grenz for all the work he has put in on redesigning the site, a major undertaking. I would also like to thank the members of this list for supporting the site : any feedback is welcome. It =   remains an entirely non commercial, free resource.       John Foss       http://www.organsandorganistsonline.com/   http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/orgofftop/
